Finally feeling the heat of summer? If your getting ready to shut down your waste oil furnace for the summer, here is an important tip to consider:
To prolonging the life of your Oil Furnace, if you’re not going to use the furnace for a prolonged period of time you should shut the power off to it, or unplug the burner. You want to avoid baking the oil in the nozzle block & preheater. If possible run a little diesel through before shutting down the unit.
When getting the unit ready in the fall, perform a Basic Service to the unit, replace filters, gaskets, and insulation. You should check nozzle and electrodes to see if they need replacing. Our service Kit SRV 101 ($169.00)* Comes complete with all parts and a service guide to perform this basic function.
For customers that want an Annual Service performed. We can arrange for a service tech to visit, and provide a basic service and cleaning of the unit. Call for details and an early appointment. (Travel cost will apply for some locations).
Summer Burner Service is available as well. Ship your burner to our shop and we will perform the basic service and tune-up. Flat rate of $495.00 plus parts and return shipping. But if you act before June 30th you can save $100 making the burner service $395.00
*The service kit, ash clean out tool, and complete parts ordering is available from our website: www.nueraheat.com
